Over the last year I have had the pleasure of assisting Dionne Payn with the Top Cool Hemp Product Picks section of the Hemp Lifestyle Magazine (HLM). HLM was born out of Dionne seeking current information about the hemp sector. HLM, based in Australia, offers free downloadable monthly issues, free access to back issues, hemp company discounts and so much more!
The July 2012 issue of HLM showcases:
- Hemp fashion
- What legal hemp could mean for US farmers
- How hemp rates in the Natural Foods sector
- David Bronner’s protest in Washington, DC
- Mobile hemp fibre processing using a Decorticator
- A comparison of hemp oil vs. fish oil
Sandi Maxwell of Hemp Wholesale Australia (HWA) shares a look into the world of ethical & fashionable hemp textiles in Australia, featuring the designs of Mookah, Pippijoe, Smax, Ink & Spindle & Miranda Earle. Nicole and Leisa of Mookah create an ever-changing hemp-based product line offering a range of hand-printed fabrics, lampshades, wall fabric art, floor cushion in various sizes, soft toys, beanbags, hand bags, scarves, door snakes and even cool kids’ teepees. You can tell that these sisters really love the work they do!
